The Water Resources Education Center

Recycling 101 Class

Great Life Mentoring

Become a life mentor for individuals ages 7 through 18, living in Clark County. Fill out a mentor application.

Boys and girls club

The Boys and Girls Club provides a safe space for children to go when they’re not in school. Volunteer as a tutor or caregiver within a specific program, or assist with food pantry distribution.

Children's Home Society

Opportunities include reading and playing with children at an early learning center, assisting with LGBTQA+ youth group meetings, and tutoring. You may also volunteer with families or choose to help virtually. See their website for more information.

Clark county food bank

Volunteers at the food bank may assist with organizing and sorting food donations, helping harvest at Heritage Farm during certain seasons, or even teaching with the Nutrition Education Program. Find more information and volunteer forms below

About Clark College Phi Theta Kappa Chapter Alpha Sigma Phi

Our Story

Through a variety of philanthropic and social activities, Clark College PTK chapter Alpha Sigma Phi inspires its members to adopt important values such as leadership, fellowship, scholarship, community service, empathy and ambition, and to always strive for excellence.

 

Since 1991, members have upheld these values through academic success, philanthropy, character development and solid relationship-building skills. Our members are actively involved in many events throughout the year, allowing them to create lifelong bonds and consistently give back to the community.

Alpha Sigma Phi has a long history of creating opportunities for students to broaden their skill set, increase scholarship opportunities, build leadership skills by being in officer positions and much more.

Friends of Trees

Based out of Portland, Friends of Trees coordinates tree planting events in the Vancouver-Portland areas from April to October. Help the community become a little greener and healthier! Check out their upcoming events below

Clark County Green Neighbors

Green neighbors work to educate the community on sustainability, recycling and gardening among other topics. Virtual and in-person events include Natural Gardening demonstrations, tours and assisting at the Recycled Arts Festival. See their website below for more info.
